Ethical issues
The editorial team of Ethical Education has adopted and applies publication ethics principles in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The editorial team of Ethical Education consistently implements the Core Practices defined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
The editorial team of Ethical Education strives to prevent all forms of unethical authorship practices, primarily plagiarism and ghostwriting. We utilize available online journal databases and anti-plagiarism software. In cases where scientific misconduct or violations of publication ethics are detected, we notify the appropriate parties, including the author’s employing institution, about the irregularities. Whenever irregularities are identified, decisions regarding publication are made during meetings of the editorial team of Ethical Education.
In justified cases, we publish on our website corrections, explanations, clarifications, and apologies related to previously issued journal issues.
All complaints and appeals concerning the activities of Ethical Education may be sent electronically to: edukacjaetyczna@uken.krakow.pl or by mail to: Ethical Education, Institute of Journalism and International Relations, ul. Podchorążych 2, 30-084 Kraków, Poland. Decisions regarding complaints and appeals are made by the Editor-in-Chief within 30 days of receiving the relevant correspondence, including specification of the actions or decisions taken.
Issues Regarding Published Texts and Corrections
If significant new information arises concerning content published in Ethical Education, the editorial team commits to publishing it on the journal’s website, along with an appropriate annotation attached to the publication file. Decisions regarding potential corrections or retractions of already published content are made by the editorial board of Ethical Education on a case-by-case basis, with relevant information posted on the journal’s website.
